Perfect for hanging from the mantle, across a window, or against a wall, this limited edition banner kit includes (15) die-cut cards printed on 100% paperboard that spell out the word “CONGRATULATIONS” - each letter features something from nature that starts with that letter (C = Cattail, O = Olive, N = Nest, G = Gladiolus, R = Rose, A = Acorn, T = Toad, U = Urchin, L = Leaf, I = Iguana, S = Sparrow). The pre-printed background features a buttery yellow backdrop and the name of the natural element featured. The cards come with a turquoise grosgrain ribbon for hanging. Completing each card can take 2 hours (30 hours total). Recommended for ages 13 and up.

      Achievable Project with Versatile Product and Rewards

      What I like so much about the banners is first the enjoyment of completing them, then second, the enjoyment of displaying them. 'Congratulations' can apply to so many different occasions, and I like having permanent, reusable decorations that occasions beyond holidays. Like holiday decor, seeing the banners on special dates or at certain events helps make them more personal and memorable, and the satisfaction of having made something adds to the experience by connecting the time and creative effort to the act of recognizing important events. For the same reason giving gifts is sometimes more enjoyable that receiving them, these banners offer value on a lot of levels; by being reusable, are sustainable as well! Finally, they are easy to do and do not require skill that takes a lot of practice or planning.
