Born in Brussels in 1929, Audrey Hepburn made a name for herself on the big screen, starring in multiple movies including our favorites Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffanys. But it is not Hepburn's acting skills that truly endear her to us here at elle cree, it is her philanthropic spirit. She was deeply involved with Unicef and volunteered for the charity regularly in her later years. She was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her work with Unicef as an ambassador.
