Elle Cree’s Workshop Sale Recap: A Huge Success!
This past weekend, we opened the doors to our workshop for a rare in-person sale—and wow, what an event! The excitement was palpable as a line formed outside before we even opened, and within minutes, our space was buzzing with customers eager to shop.
For the first two hours, it was a whirlwind of activity. Our bestselling paint-by-number kits flew off the shelves so quickly that we had to start assembling kits and pouring paint on the spot just to keep up with demand! It was an incredible sight—customers chatting, discovering new designs, and picking out their next creative project.
While the day was too busy to capture every moment, we did manage to snap photos before the madness, and a few between, which we’ll be sharing here below! A huge thank you to everyone who came out, shopped with us, and helped make this sale such a success. Seeing so many of you in person, sharing your love for painting, made all the hard work worth it.
THE SET UP
We rearranged the front portion of our workshop to include packaged kits and a long table of odds and ends, imperfect kits, additional supplies, and a bucket of free goodies!

8x10 kits were on one side of the room, while 6x6 kits and clearance kits were on the other!
We set up a special station where customers could customize their own paint-by-number alphabet banners, choosing their own phrase or name, letter design, and ribbon color. Everything was on sale, so this was a great opportunity to get a lot of cards at an amazing discount!
Here is a better look at our two different selfie stations: our giant paint-by-number kit and our 8x10 wall of kits! We even had paint-by-number shop kitties, mini berets for folks to wear, and a giant Princeton paint brush as photo props.
We welcomed our customers with refreshing Rhubarb Lavender Spritzer mocktails as they entered the workshop. The turnout was so incredible that we ran out within the first 30 minutes! A quick store run helped us restock, but even that didn’t last long—we were out again just a few hours later. The overwhelming support from our local community on Saturday truly blew us away, and we couldn’t be more grateful!
As customers made their way through the workshop, they had the chance to enter our raffle for a fun surprise! To participate, they simply left their name and email, then pulled a prize to see what they won. From discount codes to free kits, each prize was a little creative treat. The response was amazing—we filled up five pages of names, front and back! It was so exciting to see so many people take part and squeal over their wins!
Here’s a look at just how busy it stayed throughout the day! From the moment we opened, the workshop was packed, and we barely had time to snap photos of the line. We’re so grateful for everyone who came out, and especially for those who patiently waited to check out during our busiest rush. Your support and enthusiasm meant the world to us, and we loved getting to see so many of you in person!

By the end of the day, we had sold over three times the amount we expected—completely surpassing our wildest hopes for the day! The overwhelming support from our Portland community truly means the world to us, and we can’t thank you enough for showing up, shopping with us, and making this event such a huge success.
